The Independence City Commission will continue its discussions on whether to allow the sale of alcholic liquor on Sundays. A special public forum is scheduled for tonight at 6 pm at the Civic Center after being originally scheduled during a previous commission meeting. 

During the forum, several supporting documents will be looked at, including the written ordinance and Facebook comments made during a live broadcast of the original commission meeting. After the forum, city staff will place an item on the agenda for the reguarly scheduled July 23 meeting to make a proper decision.
