A Town Hall will be held in Sedan next week to discuss the funding of the police department. Chief Kirk Richardson says the city had been employing two sheriff deputies part time as officers which had saved the city some money.
Richardson says, according to city council, the police department budget had been reduced over the last few years because they didn't need as much. Richardson says the Town Hall will be next Wednesday, July 15th at 6:30. He encourages the citizens of Sedan to come out and share their opinions on the matter.
