Cases of COVID-19 Spike in Montgomery County

The number of positive COVID-19 cases has spiked in Montgomery County according to the latest figures released this afternoon.

 

According to the KDHE the number of cases in Montgomery County has increased to 53, up 12 from Monday.  Elsewhere in southeast Kansas Crawford County also saw an increase since Monday, now with 294 cases.  Labette County remains the same at 64 cases, Neosho County remains at 34 positive cases, Chautauqua County is up 1 at 5 cases and Wilson County remains at 4 cases.

 

Statewide the number of positive cases in Kansas is at 17,618 with 282 deaths.  In Oklahoma there are currently 17, 220 confirmed cases with 404 deaths.
