The statewide figure for positive COVID-19 cases in Kansas now stands just short of 17,000. The latest figures released by the KDHE today show 16,901 positive cases. Here in southeast Kansas Crawford County leads the count with 278 positive cases. Labette has 64 followed by Montgomery County with 41. Neosho County has 35 positive cases while Chautauqua and Wilson Counties each report 4 cases.
