Pittsburg Virtual Festival Continues

Two Pittsburg State alumni will join forces for a classical music concert as the second offering in the Pittsburg Virtual Festival for the Arts, planned for 7pm Wednesday, July 8. The festival, which kicked off on July 1 and will continue through Aug. 12, is a collaboration of The Bicknell Family Center for the Arts and the Pittsburg State University Department of Music.

Violinist Rebecca Cutler-Metzger and pianist Robert Ensor will bring to life the works of Tchaikovsky, Brahms, and several other musical masters. Ensor spent a large portion of his career in Vienna performing recitals and accompanying opera singers throughout Europe.

Cutler-Metzger. She is a private music instructor at Thomas Jefferson School in Joplin and performs regularly with groups such as the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas.

Audiences may view the one-hour concerts streamed at 7pm each Wednesday evening on PSU's YouTube channel.
