Man Arrested On Charges In Two Different Incidents

A Chanute man has been arrested for committing crimes in two separate incidents on the same day.

Parsons Police Officers were notified of a threat to a citizen and were dispatched to Power Flame to intercept someone en route to shoot an employee. The suspect, 51-year old Dale Perry of Chanute, had already went to Grandview Products to looking for the victim and was told that he now worked for Power Flame.

After interviewing the witnesses and the victim it was found that there was substantial evidence to arrest Perry for Aggravated Criminal Threat and causing a business to go into "lockdown".

Later in the evening, Chanute Police located and arrested Perry at his home on a kidnapping charge that arose in Chanute that same afternoon. Perry is currently in the Neosho County Jail.
