Montgomery County has moved to the Phase Out portion of Governor Laura Kelly's plan to reopen the state, despite the governor's recommendation to stay in Phase 3. Emergency Management Director Rick Whitson says they do highly recommend you follow the guidelines of Phase 3.
The county currently has 8 active cases and they are all quarantined. If things were to get worse in the county they could impose restrictions again. They will review where the county is and discuss any changes that need to be made on July 6th.
