Motorists near the U.S. 400/U.S. 75 junction in northern Montgomery County can expect delays as the Kansas Department of Transportation has started a project to replace concrete slabs on U.S. 400.
Work began on Thursday and is expected to be completed by mid-July, weather permitting. The project area is between the U.S. 75/U.S. 400 junction and the Verdigris River Bridge. Temporary signals will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone.
