The public health officer for Crawford County has resigned effective immediately. Rebecca Adamson will retain her duties as the director of the county health department. The board of commissioners and the board of public health are committed to serving the public health needs of the community and are restructuring the position in their search for a new public health officer.

Crawford County has recently seen a huge spike in positive Coronavirus cases going from 10 at the start of last week to, according to numbers provided by the KDHE, 156 this week.
