The Chanute Police Department have announced that due to a recent increase of COVID-19 cases in the area, public access to the Memorial Building and the Police Department will be temporarily limited. All individual finger printing and VIN inspections will also be temporarily suspended.
To check on court cases, pay on fines, or any other questions you may have, call the Chanute Municipal Court Clerk at (620) 431-5244 between the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm.
The walk in lobby located at the southwest corner of the Memorial Building will remain open to the public. Everyone can continue to walk in and pick up the phone to talk directly to a dispatcher if needed.
