Big Spike in COVID Cases in SEK County

 

Crawford County has seen a huge spike in confirmed COVID-19 cases. According to the Crawford County Health Department, last Monday the county had 10 confirmed cases and now a week later they have 44 confirmed cases. The individuals are all fully cooperating with health officials and are currently isolated per public health guidelines.

 

According to the Kansas Department of Health statewide there are now 11,419 confirmed cases, 988 hospitalizations, 245 deaths and over 125,000 negative cases. For the rest of Southeastern Kansas, Labette County has 27 confirmed cases, Montgomery County 22, Cherokee County 15, Neosho County 8, Chautauqua County 4, Wilson County 1 and Elk County remains at 0.
