A thirty-year old Rose Hill man was involved in a two-vehicle accident in the construction zone two miles east of Altoona.

According the Kansas Highway Patrol, Nickolas Bailey was westbound on K-47 approaching a semi-trailer driven by 48-year old Roy Fulton of Humboldt who waiting at the stop light when the vehicle driven by Bailey struck the rear of the Fulton's vehicle.

Bailey was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita with serious injuries. Fulton had no apparent injuries.
