The Coffeyville Summer Celebration is coming soon. The festivities are currently scheduled for July 11th at Walter Johnson Park. Several of the events that will be featured include a 5K run, a car show, several musical performances, and the CCC Quack Clash. Also featured will be the largest fireworks show in the southeastern Kansas area.

Event organizer Gail Smith spoke to KGGF early Thursday morning. He said they've seen a ton of interest despite not having the same amount of time to plan.
