During the Click It or Ticket Campaign recently completed, the Parsons Police Department conducted overtime saturation patrols to aggressively enforce Kansas occupant restraint, texting, impaired driving, and other traffic laws.

During the campaign, officers wrote 75 safety belt citations, and 9 other citations and arrests. 83 vehicle stops were made during the campaign. Over 60 hours of overtime was logged during the campaign to reduce vehicle crashes in Parsons and enforce occupant restraint laws and inattentive driving habits.

Click It or Ticket was supported by a grant to the Parsons Police Department from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
