The Independence City Commission will have a busy agenda when they meet in regular session on Thursday.  Commissioners will be scheduling two special meetings for later this month, one to discuss proposed projects for the special use sales tax and the other to discuss Phase 2 for the 1916 City Hall.

In other business commissioners will hear updates on the budget process, the census, the neighborhood revitalization plan and a West Main Street update.  Commissioners will also consider several grant applications, the abatement of Nuisance Taxes for 812 W. Laurel and the sale of property located at 1901 Bradley Court.

Commissioners will meet at 5:30 this Thursday in the Veterans Room of Memorial Hall.
