A Chanute man was arrested over the weekend on various drug charges and domestic battery.

Chanute Police responded to the area of 300 block of South Evergreen for a report of domestic disturbance. The report came in that one party involved was able to leave the residence and go next door to call 911. Upon arrival, officers spoke with all individuals involved. During the investigation, officers were able to obtain two search warrants, one for a residence and one for a vehicle after a deployment with CPD K9.

Officers arrested 25-year-old Conner Anthony Lair for aggravated domestic battery, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Neosho County Jail without incident.
