U.S. 160 in southwest Elk County will be close beginning next Tuesday as the South Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad plans to close and repair its crossing approximately two miles west of Grenola.

During this closure, traffic will follow the signed detour on K-99, U.S. 166, K-15 and U.S. 160.

The work is expected to finish Monday, June 15, weather permitting.
