Kansas Stay At Home Order: Update

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly has issued a statewide stay at home order.  The Governor made the announcement during a press conference Saturday morning.

 

The Governor said the order will take effect.

 

The order, which takes effect Monday at Midnight will continue at least until April 19th.  There are some exceptions to the stay at home mandate including:  obtaining food or medicine, traveling to and from work for businesses or organizations deemed essential under the state’s Essential Function Framework, or caring for children or a vulnerable person at another location.

 

The Governor says people can engage in outdoor activity as long as they observe a safe distance of 6 feet and keep in groups of less than 10 people
