The Kansas Department of Transportation have announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Kansas. The special letting of the February projects took place March 10 in Topeka. Included in this letting were projects in Montgomery and Cherokee counties.
In Montgomery County, the intersection County Road 3900 and County Road-3400 will have the grade improved and resurfaced at a cost of just under $830,000.
In Cherokee County, the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroad crossing will have the grade and surfacing improved at SE 20th Street and SW Brush Creek Road at a cost of just over $100,000.
