Labette County Commission Receives COVID-19 Update

There have been 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kansas, 8 of which were in Johnson County. Labette County Emergency Management Director Charlie Morse says 6 people have been tested in the county, all were negative and there aren't any confirmed cases in Southeastern Kansas.

The commissioners have made plans to meet with Morse once a week for at least the next six weeks as more information comes out regarding this virus. Morse says that county emergency personnel meet tomorrow and there will also be daily press releases to keep citizens informed.
