Wade Files For Election

Current Montgomery County Sheriff Ron Wade, who was appointed Sheriff in January, announced his plans to run for a full 4-year term in the upcoming election.

Wade replaced former Sheriff Bobby Dierks after he was accused of interfering with a law enforcement officer and intimidation of a witness in 2018 to stop the arrest of a girlfriend.

Wade started his career in Law Enforcement back in 1989 at the Caney Police Department. He then joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's office in 1995 where he served 14 years before going back to the Caney Police Department and where he was promoted to Chief of Police in 2016.
