A presentation to purchase a vehicle to replace an older vehicle topped the last Wilson County Commission Meeting.

Road & Bridge Supervisor Kary Tatum discussed equipment in need of replacement. He presented a 1992 Kenworth W900 semi-truck for sale in the amount of $15,000. A motion was made by District 2 Commissioner Andrew Miller to approve the purchase of the semi-truck not to exceed $15,000. District 1 Commissioner Jerry Scott seconded the motion, and the motion carried.

In other business, County Coordinator Kris Marple presented a letter of support for an increase of financial aid to Local Health Departments from KDHE for signature. A motion was made by Commissioner Miller to approve the letter of support as presented. Commissioner Scott seconded the motion, and the motion carried.
