Kansas Gas Prices Drop Slightly

 

Kansas has checked in as the 12th cheapest gas in nation, according to GasBuddy.com. While the national average is currently stands at $2.42 a gallon, an average gallon of regular gasoline comes in at nearly 30 cents cheaper at $2.14 in Kansas. That is 6 cents cheaper than last week's average and nearly 15 cents off from last month.

 

Montgomery and Wilson counties clock in at $2.19 a gallon which is 5 cents higher than the state average. Lebette County comes in 10 cents under the state average at $2.04 a gallon while Chautauqua and Elk counties are level with the state average of $2.14.

 

Across the border in Oklahoma, an average gallon of gasoline is $2.07 with gas in Washington and Nowata counties coming in at $1.97 and $1.95 a gallon, respectively.
