There's reports of a possible case of the Coronavirus that has been identified at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS.

 

Spokeswoman Amy Northrop said the hospital received a patient with symptoms and that the patient had recently traveled to Wuhan, China, where the first case was identified.

 

The hospital would not disclose certain information about the patient because of privacy issues.

 

The patient is currently in an isolation room specifically designed for disease prevention. More results from testing are expected later this week.

 

If the patient is confirmed to have the disease, it would be the first case of the Coronavirus in Kansas.
