The City of Parsons is nearing completion of the first stage of a 3-part project to reconstruct Morgan Avenue between 13th and 16th Street.

Work started with the area between 15th and 16th Streets, and will be moving on to the next block within the next month. New water lines are also being placed throughout the 3 blocks, as well as new sewer lines between 14th and 15th Streets. The city said that this project has been

broken up in to 3 stages of construction to minimize the inconvenience of residents in the area.

Late Summer of 2020 is the target for completion.
