Most of southeast Kansas and portions of northeast Oklahoma are under a Winter Storm Watch from 6:00 this evening through 6pm tomorrow. 

The National Weather Service says a heavy wintry mix is expected with accumulations of 3 to 4 inches of snow and 1/10 to ¼ of an inch of ice expected.  This could make driving hazardous coupled with drifting snow and low visibility as wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour are also expected.  If you must travel you should make sure you have a flashlight and pack extra food and water.  You can get road conditions for your specific area by calling 5-1-1.
