Have an interest in writing your own play? City Theatre of Indepdence is holding a playwriting workshop that is open to all. The two-hour workshop will be held by Exit Laughing author Paul Elliot, an accomplished actor and director who has been involved with over 60 television shows and over 50 theatrical plays. There will be two segments to the workshop: first, a discussion on how to begin a proper script, and second, a staged reading of two to three pages of scripts provided by workshop attendees. Critical discussion will follow.

The cost is $35 per participant, and will be held from 3 p.m. through 5 p.m. on January 11 of next year. Space is limited, so sign up quickly if interested.
