The National Weather Service in Wichita have issued a Wind Advisory for most of southeast Kansas for Saturday. Maximum sustained winds are expected out of the southwest at 15 mph in the morning before increasing up to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds gusts could be as high as 40 mph.

Please take precautions to protect or secure light weight outdoor furniture, trash cans, and holiday decorations from these damaging winds. Also use caution while traveling on roadways, especially for high profile vehicles which could be difficult to control.
