Over the last few weeks Elk County Sheriff’s Deputies have been conducting an investigation in the Longton area.

Several tips from the area led law enforcement to approximately four thousand dollars in stolen property along with one warrant arrest, drugs and drug paraphernalia charges. This one case has cleared up several theft reports that been taken over the last few months.

The case will be turned over to the County Attorney for prosecution and further arrests are anticipated in the future
