The city of Independence has released its 2019 loose leaf pickup schedule. The city will start picking up leaves on November 18th and will continue to do so through January 10th. Pickups will be done in specific areas on specific dates. To find your location and date, use the clickable map included here.

The city is requesting that those who participate only rake loose leaves and no brush, weeds, rock or trash. Also, leaves should not be raked into the street as it could clog the storm sewer system.
