A 31-year old Chanute woman was arrested on Sunday morning on suspicion of domestic battery.

At around 8am, officers with the Chanute Police Department responded to a call of a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of South Malcolm. While on scene, Jessica Brotherton was arrested for domestic battery. She was transported to the Neosho County Jail without incident. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.

Upon completion, reports will be forwarded to the Neosho County Attorney Office for review and consideration of charges being filed.
