Neewollah receives recognition by MFA Oil, Mikie’s Convenience Store and Cenex. As part of this recognition, they received a $5,000 grant to support activities at this year’s event. MFA Oil Wholesale Account Representative Chuck Carr says he's been attending Neewollah for as long as he can remember.

Cenex Communications Manager Mark Vanderlinde says the Hometown Pride Grant is about celebrating the things that make communities unique.  Neewollah is using the $5,000 contribution to support volunteer-run activities such as the parade, carnival, concert and pageant.
