CCC Alumni Give Support to Renovations

A couple Coffeyville Community College alumni are adding their support to the Dick Foster Complex renovations. Carl and Mary Ice have agreed to make a substantial contribution to the project.

During his time at CCC, Carl Ice was the recipient of the Pete Pelzer-Outstanding Offensive Lineman Award while playing for the Red Ravens in 1974 and '75 seasons. In 2012, the 1975 CCC football team was inducted into the CCC Hall of Fame. Coffeyville Community College recognized Ice in 2016 as a CCC Distinguished Alum. While attending CCC, Mary Ice was a flag twirler during the 1975 season and attended every football game, both home and away, including the Wool Bowl.

Carl Ice was appointed to his current position of president and chief executive officer for BNSF Railway on January 1, 2014. Mary Ice actively volunteers her time with many organizations and serves on a variety of boards. Currently, she is a member of the board of directors of the Symphony in the Flint Hills and the Kansas Nature Conservancy.
