Dalton Defender Days is approaching quickly, and those with a flair for cooking will have a chance to show their stuff with a Chili Cook-Off! 

It'll be held on the first day of the event, October 4th, and for just a $25 participation fee, you could potentially take home a prize for Judge's Choice or People's Choice. If you're not much for cooking, you can still vote for your favorite as well.

The cookoff will be on the plaza at 818 Walnut Street, running from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30.
