After an USD 445 special board meeting last week a dispute between the city and school district was brought to light over an issue with funding a bond. City Manager Mark Hall says one of the reasons for choosing to no longer make those payments has to do with a contract between a large customer.

Hall says another reason was the city was supposed to be the last position when it came to making these payments.  He says the first position was the sales tax, the second being state aid, the third was the mill levy and the fourth being the excess electric funds. Hall says if you have any questions the best explanation will come from the city attorney.
