A woman has died in a crash Saturday night just outside of Coffeyville. Around 5:30 p.m, Charlotte Wheeler, 68, of Coffeyville, was heading west on US-166 when her pickup truck dropped off the left shoulder, overcorrected and entered the south ditch.

The truck then rolled several times and ejected Wheeler. According to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash report, she had been speeding at the time of the accident. Emergency crews were called to the scene, where the truck had rolled up against a fence. Wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene.
