The Coffeyville Summer Celebration gets under way bright and early tomorrow morning. The Farmer’s Market will be in the normal Saturday location just across from the Rec Center beginning at 7:00am.  The 5K/1K fun run begins at 7:30am with registration beginning at 7:00am by the Ron Stevenson Building, which is north of the baseball field. There is no cost to participate in the run. Due to the fun run, East 8th Street will be closed from County Road 5300 to the ice machine from 7:15am to 9:30am. There will be activities all throughout the day, including a Kids Power Wheels Show and Cruise and a free Car Show. The night will end with a big fireworks display.

The Summer Celebration crew has a special Coffeyville’s 150th Anniversary fireworks tribute planned at the beginning of the fireworks show. You don’t want to miss this event.
