The event will take place August 6, 2019 at the Fredonia Swimming Pool. According to a post on the police department's Facebook page, the event is solely supported by donations from those in the area.

National Night Out is a drug and crime prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. It's designed to heighten drug and crime awareness and strengthen the bonds between the police department and the community. Residents can enjoy free swimming, games and food while receiving crime prevention information.
