Donations Being Accepted for National Night Out


The Fredonia Police Department is preparing for its 8th annual National Night Out, and is asking area businesses, organizations, and residents for help in funding the event. The event will take place August 6, 2019 at the Fredonia Swimming Pool. According to a post on the police department's Facebook page, the event is solely supported by donations from those in the area.


Monetary donations can be sent to the Fredonia Police Department at 128 Adams, ZIP code 66736. Checks should be made payable to the Fredonia Police Department. For more information about how businesses and organizations may assist with the event, click here.


National Night Out is a drug and crime prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. It's designed to heighten drug and crime awareness and strengthen the bonds between the police department and the community. Residents can enjoy free swimming, games and food while receiving crime prevention information.
