Montgomery County Commissioners met this morning for their regular weekly meeting, and Rep. Jim Kelly was there to discuss the importance of the county continuing to participate in the Rural Opportunity Zone or ROZ program which creates incentive to bring people from out of state into our county. Rep. Kelly explains (click to hear him on the airwaves).

Rep. Kelly said the waiting list decreases as individuals receive a match to help pay their student loans. That match can be received from an employer such as John Deere, and if an employer does not match, the ROZ county, in this case Montgomery County, would provide the match.
