Turn your working lunch into a walking lunch. National Walk at Lunch Day is April 24th and people will be walking during lunch in Independence starting at noon that day in Riverside Park. It starts at the corner of Park and Oak St. April 24th is the last Wednesday of this month. The walk event is sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas.
