Don't miss Coffeyville's next Outpouring of the Holy Spirit event March 3rd and 4th and every first Sunday and Monday throughout the year. Have you heard about the prophecy of Coffeyville? According to Pastor Gary Close of Word of Faith Church, Pastor Kenneth Copeland prophesied over 30 years ago that Coffeyville would have an “Outpouring of the Holy Spirit”. Well, as of January, six churches have joined together for a monthly sermon series called the “Outpouring of the Holy Spirit” held the first Sunday of every month in 2019. Pastor Close says this is a miracle in itself.

 

People are talking about the miracle healings that have happened at the January and February events. The Outpouring leaders include Pastor Randy & Debbie DePriest of First Assembly of God, Pastor James & Cheryl Feltner of Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Bishop Darren & Jess Brown of Lewark Church of God, Purley & Gary Wilson of St. Johns Church of Faith, Pastor Melvin Simpson of Church of God in Christ, and Pastor Gary & Diane Close of Word of Faith Church. More churches are welcome.

 

Pastor Close says he witnesses miraculous healings several times a week, in and outside of church. This Sunday, Mar. 3 is the next Outpouring event at Emmanuel Chapel, 312 Broadway in South Coffeyville. Every monthly Outpouring starts at 6:00pm. The prophesy referred to is posted in the sanctuary of Word of Faith Church in Coffeyville. Pastor Gary Close tells it to us on KGGF air waves, and reminds us of the Bible scripture, John 14:12 - Jesus said: “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

 

Also, in the Jan. 12, 2019 edition of The Coffeyville Journal, a Letter to the Editor from Pastor Purley Wilson was published including the same prophesy. The following is an excerpt from Purley's letter:

 

"...A close friend of mine was at the Kenneth Copeland Convention over 30 years ago in Kansas City, MO, and she heard these words that are documented:  'Coffeyville, Coffeyville! Like the days of the Topeka Revival and the Azusa Street Revival, so shall the same outpouring of the Holy Spirit fall upon Coffeyville, Kansas. Watch! For the City of Coffeyville will e known for its great outpouring just as in the days of the Azusa Street outpouring."

Then Kenneth Copeland stopped and said, 'I don't even know where Coffeyville is, but brother, look out! Keep your eyes on that city and keep your spiritual ears open. Great wonders are going to take place there first.' This report was given by John and Abby  Stone who were there at Kansas City. Kay Smith Seidel was at the convention in Denver, CO when Kenneth Copeland spoke the same thing. Also, Oral Roberts, while flying over  Coffeyville said, 'Right there a mighty move of the Holy Spirit will take place."
