A 47-year-old man dies after being struck by an SUV while riding a bike across a highway near Galena. The Kansas Highway Patrol says David Furry of Galena died after the wreck last night west of town. Troopers report the 50-year-old Georgia woman who was driving the Jeep was not hurt.
She was westbound on K-66 when the collision occurred.
