Kansans Encouraged To Take Drone Survey

The Sunflower State has a rich aviation history and continues to look toward the future. The Kansas Department of Transportation is one of 10 leaders to take part in a national unmanned aircraft scenarios survey to drive operations of the Kansas UAS  Integration Pilot Program.  Kansans of all ages and backgrounds are asked to take part in the 10-question online survey.  K-DOT hopes the poll will provide insight into the public’s familiarity and opinion of drone use.   The Kansas team is focused on efforts in Long Line Linear Infrastructure Inspection like highways, railroad, energy distribution lines, and  Precision Agriculture. IPP partners include state universities, Kansas UAS joint task force members and industry leaders.

The survey is available until February 28th.
