Independence Community College has moved to the next phase in its strategic planning process in which work groups will create initiatives in specific areas. Volunteers are needed to work in those groups. The work groups and their focus areas have been created by the Strategic Planning Gap Analysis Committee. The Gap Analysis Committee is chaired by community member and Strategic Planning Coordinator Mike Thompson. The work groups created are: Academic Excellence, Public Relations, Economic Development, Cultural and Diversity Excellence, and ICC 2025, which focuses on financial sustainability, funding and development of distinctive programs. The work groups will complete the majority of their tasks in February.
