We previewed it and now it fast approaches. The K-State Extension Office area Soybean School returns to Parsons Kansas. Held in the Southeast Area Extension & Research Station starting at 3 PM. The event is free of charge as they are still taking registrations.The phone number to call is 620-724-8233 as they are still taking reservations making sure there is enough food provided. Extension agent Jeri Geren says this is a very informative class, no matter what part of the soybean industry you may lie in. The event will host many speakers covering all areas of Soybeans including production, soil fertility, insect prevention and of course the Soybean Markets. Held in the Southeast Area Extension & Research Station starting at 3 PM off of Ness Road in Parsons Kansas.

Extension agent Jacob Weber says they are still taking reservations for the free event, as well as registrations to their annual Farmers Market Course coming up early February. This workshop will be in our area on Saturday February 2nd from 9AM till 3 in the afternoon. Just like the Soybean School this course will take place in The Southeast Area Extension & Research Station off of Ness Road in Parsons Kansas and is 20 dollars per person.
