Much of Kansas feels a winter blast. Montgomery County is under a wind advisory until this evening. The National Weather Service Office in Wichita advises there will be wind gusts above 50 miles per hour and sustained winds around 35. miles per hour. Additional caution should be used by those driving high-profile vehicles.
Blizzard conditions have been reported west of Wichita. Around Topeka, some spots have seen up to six inches of snow.
