Eighteen structures in Coffeyville could be soon demolished and another rehabilitated. These are items that the Coffeyville City Commission will be discussing in their regularly scheduled meeting tonight. The commissioners will be asked to approve a contract to demolish 18 dilapidated structures in town as well as approve a loan application for the Distressed Housing Reinvestment Program for Properties in the Ville Properties in the Ville is owned by Peggy Steele, who has already completed the renovation of five houses and nearing completion of two more along the 9 Street corridor. Steele has now bought an 8th home along 9th Street and is applying for a loan through the program to renovate that house,
