Kansas sees some of the biggest jumps in the price at the pump. The average price for a gallon of gasoline increased 4 cents over the past week, tied for the fifth largest increase in America. Today’s Kansas average is $2.68, which is 51 cents higher than one year ago.
According to AAA Kansas, this week’s Kansas gas price extremes are:
HIGH: Howard (Elk County) – $2.90
LOW: Montezuma (Gray County) – $2.43
