Coffeyville loses an eatery. The owner of Kansas Buffet Company notified local managers yesterday that when they closed at 8 o'clock last night they would not be re-opening. The restaurant employed around 30 people who are now out of jobs. A member of the local management team tells KGGF News they were blind-sided by the decision.

The restaurant was formerly a Sirloin Stockade, but the name change came after a reported dispute between the franchise owner of a number of locations and the corporate offices.
