Montgomery County is under a heat advisory. The advisory will be in effect 7 p.m. Saturday. Temperatures in the 90s will combine with high humidity likely giving us heat indices up to 105-degrees. To avoid heat-related illness, you should wear light-weight clothing, drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks if you are working outside or in an non-air-conditioned environment. Rest in the shade or in an air-conditioned area if possible.
Do not leave children or pets in vehicles where temperatures can increase to deadly levels quickly.
